Incidence response management
Incidence response management, is the process of planning what may happen when an incident occurs. It answers the question, “What happens if we get hacked?”. Its an important question, as once compromised you are on the back foot and need to report to authorities (data breach compliance). Incidence response management simulates nefarious events.
Data breach compliance
Similar to data breach compliance, gives you guidance to the most common question; “What happens when we get hacked?”
Why is it needed? As of 22 February 2018, Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) became law. This law is to notify authorities of any data breaches. Consequences of non-compliance could mean hefty fines.
