What is a Business Analyst (BA)?
Are Business Analysts expensive?
What are programmed and in-programmed decisions?
Firstly “programmed” in this context has nothing to do with coding, software, and computing.
Programmed Decisions are actions that you or your staff take. An example of this is when the telephone rings a programmed response would be to answer the phone as:
“Good morning thank you for calling Delcorp Data how can we help?”
The above example is anticipated and easy to understand
Unprogrammed decisions: would be one of uncertainty that top level management deal with such as the following example:
There is an offer from our larger competitor that would be interested to buy the business.
This is complex decision that takes time, expertise such as financial, legal implications and an example of this could be quite complex.
